A continuing fascination with the Victorian era led Laura Loew of Medina, Ohio to collect and extensively research Victorian antiques, clothing, and accessories. Her immersion into the Victorian lifestyle prompted her to develop her company, Lost in the Past, in 2001. Since then, she has enjoyed sharing the grandeur of this forgotten age with others.
Laura presents fun and informative programs that include historical and social contexts but are geared to modern audiences! Many program topics are available, and custom requests are welcomed.
Laura has spoken for a myriad of groups and events, including libraries, schools, Red Hat events, historical societies, genealogical societies, tea clubs, church groups, garden clubs, womens’ clubs, Girl Scout troops, bus tours, and private parties! Laura encourages audience participation and programs are tailored to the interests and age group of the audience.
Laura’s programs include:
A 45-minute to one-hour talk with plenty of time for audience questions and participation
Antique artifacts for display, suiting the topic of the talk
Laura will present your talk dressed in authentic antique clothing from head to toe
